Match Report
Wilmslow High School Boys-U14A vs  Lymm High School
On: Saturday, 28 Sep 2019
Venue: at Home

A similar story meant that Wilmslow went down a try straight from the first play with tackles dropping off bigger opposition and them finding numbers out wide. This continued and the game looked like it might be over by half time. Then Wilmslow eventually realised that Robert Simion and Archie Price are big and could bounce off a few tackles, this provided some belief whilst Lymm had there larger players taking a rest off the field. The game became more of a contest and Wilmslow enjoyed there share of the ball almost scoring but for a knock on over the line and some hard running from Zack Smith and Archie Price making dents in the opposition. A try eventually came Wilmslow's way with the pressure and Roberts K along with Robert S started to cut down Lymm's larger players in the tackle. This made for a much better second half performance and Wilmslow again showed some great determination at the ruck to make it a more even game. Unfortunately the damage had been done early on and the scoreline again did not reflect the performance. Wilmslow must work hard to be confident from the start and work hard to continue their good play right from the starting whistle.
